Help needed for New League..

Hi

I've made a new league. I've replaced the Icelandic league with the Faroese League and it works fine.. except for one error.. No teams get promoted to the league.

In the first season there are 10 teams and for the second season 2 teams get relegated and none get promoted so then there are 8 teams.. and the 3rd season the game crashes (i'm guessing its because then there are only 6 teams left :eek:

Anyone noticed something similar?

sounds like you haven't put faroe islands clubs underneath the icelandic leagues. The league below should have some faroese clubs.

If there is no league below, then put them in the "a lower division".

I had a similar problem during making the J-league playable & it was because I put the japanese teams in the wrong divsion, I put them in thrid divsion instead of 2nd...

In iceland there are 3 leagues..

the two first are active league and then there is a 2.division with 24 teams and this division is in-active. I've swapped 2 faroese teams with 2 teams from that division and it doesnt work.. :/

Something else that made me wonder is that when I only choose the topleague (even though it works fine with both league) I still dont get any team promoted. I'd thought that 2 teams from the 1. division should be promoted as they obviously are playing in a active division that works fine - but yet they dont get promoted..

odd, are the leagues set as faroese?

Yes - All Icelandic competitions are Faroese and all Faroese competitions are Icelandic. - I simply dont know what else can cause this..

I'm currently trying the same thing with Wales instead of Iceland.. - I've put the game on holiday and then we'll see if works there..

I just played a season through with wales..

Same problem.. 2 teams relegated and no teams promoted..

I even swapped 2 faroese teams into the welsh 1. division AND 2 teams into the welsh lower division..

I'm out of options here.. :/
