Default Creating a youth tournament

I want to create a youth tournament - similar, if not a basic rip-off of the viareggio tournament in italy. thing is, is there a way of making a sort of 'champions league' for U19's sides across the world?

So in effect the winners of the youth sides across europe and the world go up against each other.

I want this to be done with club teams - in case anyone was lost on what i've posted

Unfortunately it is not possible.

Would be nice if this was possible though (making & heavy editing of leagues)

You could change one of the leagues you don't use into a U21 by just swapping the teams outta it with U21 teams. Fair enough, it'd mean the youth teams would be "based" in that country, but ya know. The other downside is that anyone under 16 wouldn't be able to play.

There'd be no need to swap the TLAs or anything, as they'd just be treated like how AlbireX's B team are in the S-League, meaning they wouldn't qualify for continental competitions etc.

Just make sure when swapping teams into the league that you make the league's nation not set before swapping the U21 teams in so the club's country isn't changed by the editor. Once you've swapped teams in(you could swap in U21 teams from the big clubs of various countries if you want) then reset the nation to what it was(say you used the Scottish league system, you'd change it back to Scotland) and then activate the Scottish leagues whenever you start a new game.

this wouldn't quite work I'm afraid.

a) it would only work with scotland & dutch league system.

b) errors will appear when a cup match appears (as it wont be rescheduled... as they are not the same nation as the league.

I have asked for this to be included for years. It would also be good way to scout potential talent. This has been done in other games and it is one feature that would work well in FM.
