Does anyone know how this works?

As in, on what is a regens nationality determined by? Nationality of the team, the Stadium location etc.

the main newgen nationality is dependant on the location of the stadium.

e.g. for Cardiff, the stadium is in wales, so the greys are welsh & a vast majority of newgens are welsh.

I was just thinking, that if I added a youth team in the editor and gave them a stadium in, say, Brasil would the teams regens be Brasilians, and if so, would they have dual nationality?

I think you might end up with a crash. I tried mucking about with this and then ended reinstalling.

However, in my game now (only players etc updated), playing as Arsenal, I regularly get Scots, Welsh and Irish players promoted. Also the odd player from another country such as an Australian this season.

They would mainly be brazillian as would the grey players.

to Mr Ash: Playing as arsenal.... you would get all british nations as they are very close to england, the grey players will be english however.
