Thankyou for taking an interest in my latest superleague. This is the second time I created this particular update (the first time I accidently used 6.0.2 data & forgot about work permits.... mistakes happen, I'm only human - Therefore I have opened a new thread to solve confusion)
The basic way to install is to extract this db to your db folder; Default is :- CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\data\db
Make sure you make a backup of your current database somewhere.
To set up this league is simple, choose England, then select the tier you would like to go down to.
As only leagues in Europe are affected, you are free to also choose leagues from other continents if you wish.
League Structure
This league structure contains 312 teams from around the world. There are however a few non-league English teams which interfere at the second-qualifying round of the world champions cup. There is no way around this unfortunately, but they will all be hammered very early on!
Don’t know which nation the club comes from?
Simple question to answer, look at one of their “grey” players. The nationality of that grey player is still the same as the nation in which they originate from.
How are the clubs chosen for each league?
For this edition, I used a little common sense while attempting to keep the number of teams from each nation fair.
Other
Clubs with B or C teams (e.g. Barcelona B, Ajax 2) play in their respective reserve/u18 league. For example those two mentioned above play in the reserve league whereas Real Madrid C for example plays in the U-18 league.
All nations have been made part of the EU in order to stop work permits.
how have people been finding this?
i came in here to find something similiar but maybe not as detailed (how many divisions!!)
the issues I have are, do players get upset at lower set clubs and want to leave, thus making it a nightmare further down the divisions?
for example IF I go to west ham am I going to have to sell my entire first team squad up the league, and then struggle to attract anyone half decent or will the club still be able to attract resonable rated players.
in short is everything else within the game fixed in line with the new league structures as much as it could be? or do teams behave as they would if it was all still the english leagues i.e west ham act as canvey island might be expected to?
