Porto are in decline recently, sad to say.

=> If Porto is in decline i think many clubs wished to be in decline as Porto...

But of course, some clubs that appears in 1º division are better and have better results than Porto.

See you in WC 2006. For another defeat

I understand that you choose IFFHS but I don't think it's the best statistic and basis to made a World Super League.

You could choose another criters. Relegating 2 years past CL winner to the 4º division is really bad.

And I'm not a fan of Porto.

If you're not happy with the way the teams are positioned open the editor and change it. I'm Portuguese and I'm not offended by it.
It's not arbitrary, If you don't like it complain to the IFFHS, and not against Steven who's done a terrific work.

Good Work Steven. And just a question, how will the finances of the lower league clubs be affected? Have you tweaked the money generated there?

It looks like to me, as I have upped the reputation of the leagues, that the crowds still come in for the bigger teams, generating the income. Unfortunately I cannot tweak prize money (hard-coded).

One thing to add. I shall make version 2, complete with leagues to match the current world rankings. This will happen when the next patch comes out.

This one will be self-extracting, and come with its own db & shortcut, so not to tamper with the current database.

Thanks for the reply. The only sugestion I might add is that you should try to do it in country that allows to have 7 subs, like italy for instance.
Because, it's extremely hard to keep a squad happy, when most of them are not even in the bench for long periods. And the majority of leagues already uses the 7 subs rule.

Anyway

The reason I chose England was because they have

a) No foreign player limits
b) A Lot of playable divisons
c) lots of money for the clubs compared to other league systems.

7 subs? I have always wondered why people like 7 subs abroad, I find that 5 is more than enough

I will take a look at other league systems to get a more "in-depth" look at which league system to choose.

no it does not.

The regens and grey players have the nationality of the club.

e.g. Barcelona have spannish grey/regens
olimpia (HON) have honduran...
Sao Paulo have brazillian grey/regens

so they have the regen/grey nationality as normal.

Just finished the first season, great league, very close between the teams though.

The only thing I would change (that has already been mentioned) is the prize money of competitions. The FA cup is murder to win, for a final prize of 1 mill.
