Following Cleon`s ideas in his Sheffield United project, I decided to try a similar test: to take a mediocre team to the highest possible. I don`t have too much problems to win the league with the top sides (as many of you people) but, to be honest, I never had success with mediocre teams because I always tried to implement the same tactics I used for top sides.
So, I took Mallorca, a team expected to finish in the bottom half of the table, and after watch carefully player by player, I built a tactic that would suit to my side. I followed the advise of the "wise men" of this forum, and stuck to "keep it simple". So I built a diamond 4-4-2 formation with simple instructions. Then I built a slighty more defensive and counter attacking formation to face the biggest teams. Here is the result:

I didn`t bring ANY player in. I made VERY few tweaks from match to match. And I have finally agree with Cleon: if you found a balanced and coherent tactical system, everything is possible in this game.
