You can be very attack minded if you want and be successful, and I normally am once I have a good squad. Normally takes me a few seasons though to aquire the certain players I need.

If you want to be more attacking then sure.

yeah, OK. Im trying at the moment with everyone on at least normal mentality, and def line normal,moving up def line left me exposed against juve reserves.

I tried in vain to get the diamond working effectively, no to be.the main reasons are:

1) if ur AMC is not good(probably my reserve player) he will be tackled easily or they normaly just close down the AMC heavily, negating his effect.

2) the wingers don't have no 1 really close to, to play one-twos, to rty go round a man, in effect they aer isolated.

I reverted to a 442 meanwhile, just to get wingers a lot more involved, its more risky without a DMC but im playing the tactic for home games.

I actually think the 442 diamond cleon uses is effective because it uses direct passing. If you can get it to your target man then he'll flick it on for striker or it will drop to AMC.

But I like to play a more attractive game( short or mixed), so it isn't as effective.

Anyone else tried the 442 diamond with success?

Played 4-4-2 Diamond Too. A bit of success for the 1st Season. Got 2nd. But still tweaking with my formation. As for AMC. I gave him "Always" for FR,LS,TP,RWB. with no arrow. Hard Tackling too. Dun really remember what i put now. When i get home, will try to post more details. Hopes it helps u a bit.

My AMC currently seems ok cause he scored a few goals by LS. decent RWB and TS. Not that Great at the moment.

Ok,safe Shunde. Would be interested to know what type of pasing and style you play with your diamond.

My main problem with the diamond was getting the AMC involved/getting him to support the wingers(ML).He just stays still, although cleon's idea of fwd rarely helped to make him come deep.

I used Tactics from cmaddicts. Tweaking the tactic on the arrows and some simple intructions. i think u can take a look at the AMC passing stlye.

hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone could help me with setting up a target man who is in the amc posistion, by the way my prefered target man is one who can flick on balls to my fast strikers. any help would be great. thank you
