Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Training Help!

Really new to the FM2007 game so apologies for sounding a little thick!

I want to know how to set a new schedule for training my players. I click on import/export button but nothing happens so a bit lost! how the hell do I go about it.

Thanks for any help you can all give me!

Allright, follow these steps lad, and your there:

1. Open Training Screen
2. Click on "Schedules" so dropdown menu appears
3. Click "New"=>Full Time or Youth Schedule (Depending on whether you're in the Senior or Youth Training)
4. Name it however you want (logic makes sense, remember that!)
5. Adjust all the sliders
6. And get all the players you want on that Schedule.

Hope this helped, good luck and N-Joy,

Cheers, R.

Thanks mate I will try that! I am really struggling down the foot of the division although I have started with a smaller team with a 20K budget so the only way is up!

Thanks again for your help my face has a smile on it as I now think of a tough training schedule for my players!

Hi..i`m from Malaysia i've played all CM n FM series and i think the FM2007 is the hardest one..I manage Watford, they almost got kick out from Premiership..then my eyes caught something at the tips and hints(in the game)..to make sure your players play according to the tactic, in training give them tactic training as high as u can..the result is awesome..my players play well, according to tactic n position..but the training must vary according to their position..for example defender must have tactic, stamina, strength and defend training, while midfielder with ball control, tactic, stamina n strength and lastly striker:ball control, shooting, attack and tactic training.. but my problem is the tactic can last long only for a season and u have to change it every season (i guess)..so,u should go n try mate

ps:tell us how it's working..
