sounds likea clear case of someone who is so bad at the game, that even having followed Cleon's advice, can still only guide Chelsea to 17th in the Premier League.

Cleon - one of the top 3 contributors on the FM scene

Bean feast - who?

Goodbye and good riddance

This sort of rubbish has no substance to it so the newer posters would do well to ignore it. Cleon has been part of this site for a long long time... He is a moderator and does a good job keeping in unclustered and tidy.

But he also helps people every single day, which he doesn't have to do so please please lay off and stop spreading malicious lies that are made in spite, most likely because someone doesn'nt like being censored for breaking the forum rules.

Is it only me that found the post funny? due to "You should be ashamed of yourself tryng to emulate Jesus."

Just had this image of some dude from sheffield walking about with a FM07 T shirt on and some sandles and people bowing to him

It seems that these kind of contributions in this forum really loses the plot. I thought this forum was designed to help out, a place to gather hints and tips and I don“t see many adding progress, so the few that actually take time (such as Cleon) should be apprietiated for good or bad. It is an ungrateful task that Cleon (and others) has taken, but there are rules for forums and where there are rules - there are individuals who must make sure they are kept. Probably almost everybody that has played this game has cheated a little in game terms, but one can't confuse this with cheating others. Contributing to this forum is not cheating... breaking forum rules is.

That's pretty accurate, to be honest - I often see Cleon behaving in this manner around town.

* This statement may not be accurate.

So some scene whore restarted his matches to win for the adulation of people on these boards and to protect SI eh ?

Does not surprise me with the amount of self appointed gurus who spout so much garbage and give the FM match engine so much credit than it deserves.

The fact is if you are new to the game or not very tactically astute then threads that Cleon, WWFAN, Asmodeus will help you out regardless of any shenanigans that they (Cleon) might get upto.

I don't put any particular stock in bean feast's claim; anyone can say they've recieved an email saying someone's done such-and-such, but I am kinda amazed at so many people saying it wouldn't matter even if it were true.

To make the situation less emotive let's remove the username Cleon.

If Tactical Genius X posted a long thread detailing his tactical approach and the excellent results he was getting because of that approach and it turned out that he was reloading matches to get those results, it means the tactics he used didn't work, otherwise he wouldn't have needed to redo matches. It would mean that he was giving out tactical advice with the appearance of authority when in fact it was all just bull. How can anyone say that blatantly lying about that wouldn't matter?

Again, I don't see any reason to assume this post is true, but as someone who's struggling to get my team playing well and spending a lot of time reading up on tactics and trying to implement people's ideas, I'd be pretty damn angry to find out I'd just wasted my time on a lot of rubbish when I could have spent it just playing the game in my own inept way and getting the same mediocre results.

I guess without evidence this thread is pretty stupid tho making these accusations. We need evidence before making judgements.

I think if people are reading some threads by the self proclaimed 'gurus' and copying everything they do or say taking it all in as fact then it will make me chuckle if he did cheat. That 8 page thread or whatever full of morons trying copy him because they are to stupid to come up with there own tactics.
