Thread: End of Season Report - Celtic

Just finished my first season with my new save game with Celtic with the 8.0.1 patch
I won the league and the scottish cup. Only got to UEFA and got knocked out after the group stages so wasnt very successful there but i aim to get last 16 of cl next year

Sold Lee Naylor for 1.5m and signed Jimmy Briand for 10m. I got Johnny Evans and Justin Hoyte on loan to improve my defence.

In January i got 3.2m for JVOH then on the last day of the transfer window i got 3.5m for Artur Boruc and i wasnt fast enough to sign another 'keeper.

I played Mark Brown for the rest of the season and he really surprised me and played well although i have Vincent Enyeama coming in July.

I finished with 90 points beating Rangers on the last game of the season although i had won it before then. I then beat Rangers a few days later in the Scottish cup

Scott Brown is moving to Blackburn for 6m plus 50% of next sale which i think is great business and Evander Sno is away for 1.2m plus 50% of next sale which is also good business.

Jimmy Briand scored 37 goals in 30 matches in the SPL even though he was injured for 2 months. He also won European Golden Boot scoring 46 goals in 40 starts and coming on as sub twice.

After a season the players value goes down from what you signed him for and it went down when he was injured
