im stoke city finished 1st in the championship in my first year and i am now holding my own in the premiership due to lulinhas goals
but my defence is letting in a couple of goals a game so new players needed
at the moment it is
GK-Steve Simonsen
LB-Danny Pugh
CB-Ryan Shawcross
CB-Scott Cuthbert
RB-Micheal Duff/Phillip Bardsley

Check out the brazilian clubs for some good young defenders, also there's some good isreal defenders too

quality comes with price..

try to search young defender with good defensive ability.. marking, tackling, concentration, positioning around 15-18.. that will be good enough for premiership..
