This problem has been with me now for a long time. I no longer enjoy the CM series at all.

Lower league management in CM4 was a Disaster for me, only manageing to get one game of LLM which i enjoyed. Then another EP came out and the game was ruined.

Ive only ever finished 4 seasons with CM4 compared to a 25+ season with Cm01/02

Switching back to Cm01/02 seems like a good idea however it was all in vain and i was experiencing a 2month old game (This is in game time)before i found myself deleting the save. Everything i did to experience the wonderful Cm01/02 game i had with Peterhead was going wrong and then Cm03/04 came out.

It seemed interesting to begin with but now im having the same problem as i had with CM01/02, in the last 4 games i have tried ive only just got the beginning of the season before quitting without saving.

I think i have a disease and i need a cure, help me LLaMas

My Peterhead save was nearly two years ago, i have since then not enjoyed a game like it.

Take a break - maybe even some months - and hope that it cures you. Forcing yourself into playing does not work.

Jesus, a counselling thread. This is what's wrong with the country today. Nobody can take responsibility for themselves anymore.

1. Ask yourself why you don't enjoy it anymore.

2. Can you change any of these things?

3. If yes, make the changes and reassess.If still not happy, go back to 1.

4. If unable to gain satisfaction, give it up and do something else.

Well, Mrs Skonto is a clinical psychologist. I am not sure what she would suggest in such a situation. Then again, she hates football anyway.

03/04's a real improvement on CM4, LLM wise, but if the speed issues aren't addressed in the last EP, then I don't know how long my interest will stay.

I still enjoy CM, don't get me wrong, but it quickly becomes really irritating having to sit for what seems like hours in between games, and as a result the game gets switched off several times a day, if it gets switched on at all.

I live in hope.

I have a friend who has been through this situation three times in the past. He thought that the game didn't challenge him anymore.
The first time, it was his parents who decided that the game didn't challenge him anymore. The second time, it was his woman. The third time, it was his boss.

cheers guys, i've been trying to get some inspiration off some of the Llamas update threads. LFCfan Hall of famer 'World relegation tour' has inspired me a little and im looking currently to going back to Cm01/02

Currently reading another threads which have been provided by a2000 at the Moonshine Hut in the Boonies for more inspiration.

Seems strange to be switching back to Cm01/02 only 2/3weeks after getting CM03/04

I'm flipping between CM & Civilization Conflicts at present. No 15 hours sessions for me either.

The feeling is there, just a different feeling from previous versions. Biggest bug bear as Ian said, is the wait between games, but I have only experienced that during the transfer window. After they close, my game trots along at a reasonable pace.

I'm thinking of doing an update in the Zealot room myself if only to keep me interested in the game.
