Hmmm, I've been wanting to have a go at an online game for a while now, so obviously a llama one would be perfect. Not sure about being able to commit though with Uni...
Oh, and I haven't got CM 03/04 at the moment !

I'm in, well, some days being a problem. Brodyband and 4.1.3 not an issue.

Just a tip here, Iajafer. I am afraid that 4.1.3 is no good for online gaming.
For example, playing online I once lost 2-0 in the highlights, but in the commentary the score was still 0-0. And that was the real score too as I found out after the end of the match. Actually, I had to ask other human players what the score in my match was, otherwise I wouldn't know. And this happened every couple of games. Also, you cannot view other players' matches, because then the game gets stuck when the match is over.
I have never played 4.1.2 online (so I don't know if these problems exist there too), but it's supposed to be better and SI are recommending it.

Like Mr X said before this is an conversion problem when games are created on 4.1.2 & are patched later to 4.1.3. This problem doesn't show up when a network game is created on 4.1.3.

I hope u guys can get a game going that is strict to the llm ethos. It would be interesting to see how things would develop, also some new on-line talent would emerge :thup:

I don't think so, because our game was created with 4.1.3. That's what I think, at least...(I was not the one who created it).

i'm not disagreeing with what your findings are bud. My findings are as follows, I have started 8 different network games in various competitions. Different data sizes, different dtt files, different amount of players etc and using 4.1.3 fixed exe. I have encountered no problems at all except for one user who kept crashing ( this funnily enough was sorted by starting afresh with same teams and players, i put it down to a corrupt save).
Anyway this a LLm online recruitment thread lets get back on topic |
