Definitely USM 2. First management game i 've ever played. And yeah, that was a breathtaking feature .
Anyone remember the other one? When a match was somewhat tedius, the newspaper bit was saying:

Na I liked it when I updated Cm9798 using the editor and bringin Cheltenham Town up in 1998 (I think Heresford got relegated)- no players, no money, no apparent reputation, never been to Cheltenham, never will probably, but great fun all the same!!

Yes true, but 9798 was when I was 12 years old , and before I had the internet and therefore pre discovery of the concept of llama!!! Also, I was simply using the 'SPAWN' to accurately reflect the relegations and promotions of that season, no cheating etc. Calm down, and get your facts right!!

Nevertheless, if a 12-year old boy would come in here and brag about cheating and spawning his way up with Dorktown United, it wouldn't be a good excuse either.

Iskra, it doesn't matter how old you were. Even when you kicked your Mum into the belly from inside, making her fall on they keyboard thus pushing some shortcut starting the spawn ( ), you're now old enough to know that you shouldn't mention this here.
