what I never understood about your standby then is, why we're even caring about transfer fees, (why selling that player for 30k when I can give him away for free? It's not my part to handle the finances anyway!) and wages and so on anyway then. Answer: oh, because without cash I can't strengthen the squad == the team. So - by "looking after the team" you are handling some financial issues as well, as long as they are concerning the team.

So, imho, as long as it's about wages/fees/bonuses/treatments it makes definitely sense to keep an eye on the available money. As Ian said - rehabilitate him if he's worth the financial expense, dump him if he's not and use the cash otherwise.

Simple answer to that is, you sell a player for £30k, you get a %age back to buy players. You rehabilitate a player, you still have the transfer money, and a player who will last a few more seasons.

You may not!

The Board may sack you for financial mismanagement, but at least your "golden boy" will have a healthy groin (Steady! )

It's not a case of conforming, mavis (is that your real name? )

Certain standards of CM are expected, nay demanded, by LLM. It's like that, and that's the way it is [/Run DMC vs Jason Nevins]

I'd only consider sending a player to rehab viable if I could make the money back by flogging him at a later date. Like Ollie, I've had bills of £75K for treatment in the past, and I wouldn't have paid that for a Conference club if I'd have known the price before hand.

Btw, just had my top att mid in Leigh Rmi injured for 3 months. Physio wants a surgery. I decided not to allow this surgery, because he would be missing for the greater part of the season, and we badly need him. He'll be back in 3 months and not in 7 or 8.
Probably saved some money too.

Every one according to my physio. I get the stupid 'correct this recurring problem' message even if this is the first time its happened. Another gripe is being able to see the expense. You can't, because I suspect if its chargeable to you it goes in "other" and who knows what all is in that category. Same with scouting. It's not free, but who has any idea how the game figures the cost? Not to make this into Championship Accountant, but playing LLM makes all these expenses relevant. The "other" expenses is just too vague a cop-out unless it is stated exactly what goes into it and at what rate.

You can see to how much the 'Other' finances section sums up, right before you click on "Send to rehab". Then go again to your finances screen, and see how much was added.

Yeah, I understand that there are ways to get a good guess at what its costing, but I still contend it needs to be itemized a bit better. After all, what if it was a £90,000 surgery. By uour method I'd only know about it after I sent the guy to surgery; a little late
