When choosing an LLM team I always choose a team from the lowest league like the guidelines say. But to choose the worst team possible I look at the odds on the teams fixture list & choose the team that is the underdog in every game. This is not always the case with some leagues but it might help people to decide on a team if they looking for a challenge.
why should you always have to choose the team with the least reputation though? i prefer a random team myself, if you're the odds on favourite you'll have more pressure than the team you'll choose so it could be more of a challenge
I completely agree but thats just the way I choose my team. Thought it might help all these people who ask 'What team should I Be?'.
In theory though if a team is favourite to lose every game then they usually do. Its usually harder to sign good players and staff & it can help your reputation a lot if you avoid the drop or do better than expected.

E.g. Mansfield were favourites for promotion in my game but ended up in the Conference...
