Can understand your sentiments totally, I don't think I posted in here the first two months I was registered!

Contrary to what many believe, this forum is not unaccepting of newbies. The people who have problems in here are those who storm in, don't bother to read the ample information on the forum header about the rules and ethos of the forum, and start posting new topics and posts that infringe these. If you play the game in a way that takes in this ethos (and here there are differences in the ways different people play and the limitations they put on themselves, but the spirit of striving for realism is the defining factor) and post in accordance with the forum rules (don't worry about the Sonnet one, that's only been applied once!) you will be fine.
