Criteria for moving, personally speaking:
<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI>Winning too easily, i.e. after several seasons in the top division and expecting to beat Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man Utd and the like
<LI>Glass ceiling - got as far as you can with current team, finances, players stadium expansion, etc.
<LI>Greed - Liverpool() offering £83m in transfer budget.
<LI>Deserved Job Offers - like newly relegated Crewe offering you the job immediately after you've had a Team promoted (like me just now with Aldershot)
<LI>Just got sick of the Team - Good one, that.</UL>

I'd never go to Liverpool(). Would be interesting to see though what would happen if Ian gets offered the Hibernian job.

Ian's 'getting sick of the team' one usually does for me too. I like to preface my exit with a series of unrealistic requests for ground extensions and transfer funds and crazy ultimatums so I can really feel I stormed out in a hissy fit.

When I think back, I've only ever jumped ship once, and that was when I had my tiny little Wevelgem side get pasted in the 2nd group stage of the CL, and once the board told me there was no way they would increase stadium capacity, I was gone. Then I stopped playing CM 01/02

I always like a good 4, e.g. CM9798 Mansfield , hopefully I can emulate that1 again, but most likely a 2 :cool: then a unceremonial slide into a 6 before crashing down into a 1 followed by a nervous breakdown before River Plate offer you a way back...

9 generally, although sometimes I do get fed up of a job (and not necessrily due to tranfer funds or success).

Although I coundn't go for the Liverpool job, as CM will only let you manage down to the Conference .
