My team is currently the best in Northern Ireland (which isn't saying much) and playing Champions League football. This still isn't enough for some of the slightly less rubbish players in my side who won't re-sign no matter what I offer them (which has to be under £300 p.w.).

Contracts renewal playing with LLM teams.. Post #3
A good example was for me at Darlington, my right-winger had a brilliant season(12 goals, 17 assists) and was expecting a large contract...I couldn't stretch to his demands despite his importance to the team so he buggered off to Shrewsbury on a free to play in the Conference for almost double what I offered him (£1500!!), hows that possible eh? Shrewsbury are in the Conference and I'm doing well in the 3rd yet this happens!!
All was not lost however, after a shrewd look at what my scouts had to offer and those who performed well in the division I snapped up an even better player than I had before - every cloud has a silver lining supposedly, you've just gotta persevere marcio, tis the way of the llama!!

hehe. are you also using the "lets sign another really good goalie just to **** him off" method? (I'm definitely not meaning some ex-Augsburg goalie now.)

I like how since CM4 many players come to their senses once their contracts have run out and nobody else wants to sign them. I like to let em sweat and then offer a lower contract than before. Suckers.
