Okay, so at first glance this is nothing new, but I've never seen things to this level.

On my current sojourn in Northern Ireland Glenavon have been bailed out by a new board 3 times

1/10/35 = £1.31 billion
12/2/36 = £855 million
30/4/36 = £634 million

So, assuming that we're talking American billions here, that's nearly £2.8 billion of bail out in 7 months. All for a little Northern Irish club paying players an average wage of £200 a week. They've managed to accumulate debt (assuming that this is all of it) at a staggering average rate of over £82 million pounds a year since the start of the game.

And no I am not playing CM4, definitely 01/02.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

And another £1.5b so far in the first 6 months of this season

What happens when the total ammount of money that has been pumped into the club &gt; the ammount of money that actually exists in the world I wonder

Keep going and let us know!

Even better, wait for the job to come up and apply, then you can get a look at the accounts!

+ £600mill before season end.

The thing is Cobbler, the job came up at the same time as I moved to Carrick. I didn't apply for it as they were NI Prem and Carrick NI div 1.

not really that rare, but still an all time classic any time it appears for me (generally once or twice a year) - from Taip's 01/02 commentary file:

...he plays the man and not the ball...
...surely...
...the assistant referee is waving his flag...
...he's signalling...
...he's signalling no penalty...

or something like that anyway, not quite sure as i've only seen it a few times (played only 3 seasons so far with the commentary pack).

You get loads of clubs with a "Rich" status lower down the leagues after 20-30 seasons, I've never actually took control of any of them but I can only imagine the monthly interest is stupidly high...apparantly the game only allows you to have £2.14 billion (the highest value the code can store as a Long integer) so god knows what's happening in Mkus's game.

I'm guessing that only some of the debt is paid off and then massive interest accumulates again.

They've had another £600m paid off in the close season.

If the job comes up I will apply, and if offered save - accept - look at the finances and then quit and reload. I'm interested to know whats going on but I'm buggered if I'll allow it to interrupt my game in its 36/7th season.

nah, if it comes up you apply and play there. Sounds like a great challenge to bring out that club out of receivership.

I'd like to know how you propose to do it when then total value of their playing staff can be no more than £1,000,000 (and that's a generous estimate) and you only get £5,000 for winning the NI Premier League.

Win the Champions League every year, and get your merchandise income up to Real Madrid levels.

There's something rotten in NI football.

Another £400m for Glenavon (now September 2037) and £1.73B for Newry.
