Had the 'shoving the ref' thing after about 4 seasons of playing 01/02, never since...so that must be just as rare.

Weirdest thing I've ever seen in 01/02 was a news item about a player leaving because of some sort of 'unfair treatment' law....can't remember the exact terminology, but something like 'Player X has announced he is quitting Chelsea due to the Fair treatment act' or something like that. I've never ever even heard of this anywhere else after about 5 years of browsing these forums (and the previous ones), so I'm starting to think it was all a dream.

Ive never had the abandonment thing (altho Ive heard of it), and my captain and CB was outed for a long time for shoving the ref

I also had a player leave, because of that act. From memory though, they said that he was applying to somewhere to be given permission to leave because of that act. Cant remember exactly.

Took a Luxembourg striker on trial and got coaches to report on him.

"X is considered to only be loyal to the highest paying club."

Not had that before.

Well, I'm getting on for 2020 and I'm not sure who on earth he has regened from (i.e. he is good).

Needless to say I couldn't match his wage demands.

I'm sure the regens get different nationalities from time to time, it's the only way to explain some of the nationalities you get later on in the game.

I had a similar thing recently with my Liechtenstein AM/FC, he immediately 'believes his manager should show him more respect', and is 'finding it hard adapting to life in Finland'. In my original long savegame with Heybridge my three star players were from Pakistan, Aruba, and El Salvador.

I had a Regen in my game in 2018 called *Saying players name while I cough* who was a Forward Left/Center Who was born in Madrid and had a 2nd nationality Lebanon. He started at Real and was the best player in the game.

Reminded me of a certian Real Madrid No. 7

Had two players last season fail to return after a leave of absence. However, on both occasions their agent informed that they had missed a flight and would return within a couple of days. Never had it before though...

*big uppage*

Just seen another new one last night, was playing a UEFA Cup tie in Armenia, and got this:

"Llanelli's DC will be out for a few days after picking up food poisoning on the club's trip to Armenia". I knew that third kebab was a mistake...

I thought the old CM1/CM2 bouts of flu, food poisoning, and viruses were long gone, but obviously not.
