I just felt I had to comment on this again.
Just finished second in the Scottish 3rd.
I was 3 points behind the leaders who I was to play in the last game, they had a 5 better goal difference. So, I had to beat them by three clear goals to win the league.
Early in the first half I went one up, after 36mins they had a player sent off, just before half time I went two up. I needed one more goal so I set all players except defenders to gung-ho, I pummled their goal all through the half, hitting the post in the 67th min. With three minutes to go a cross came in from the byline and it was there, the third goal, or so I thought, disallowed for offside! Incredible because the ball was played backwards!! Only realised once I finished jumping round the room. Now I am absolutely gutted. Promotion in 2nd for me, still no 1st place finish for me.
Has anyone noticed that the offside doesn't work correctly, when you shoot or cross, a player completely out of the picture is declared offside, even though he has nothing to do with the play. The number of goals I have lost in the Scottish 3rd due to this, haven't seen it in the conference before.
