I actually did read the header. I wasn't tipping, cheating, discussing tactics, discussing an editor, although I did accidentally name a player, I admit. And I don't know what the update bit means...
I certainly wasn't meaning to brag I don't think it was a particularly impressive story anyway, I was just meaning to swap experiences of managing a particular team (honest). :o
You guys must get a lot of people p*****g you off in here if newbies like me are getting jumped on so quickly. Didn't mean to break the rules but do find it a bit odd that you can't talk about players you signed or results you achieved that's surely the point of managing a lower league team. The fun is that it's never going to happen IRL. Can anyone explain why we have these rules? (I'm probably really infuriating regulars now!)
Don't visit Canary Wharf anytime soon then Nobby. I grew up in Lichfield, Staffs and we used to play Newcastle under Lyne. Only came down here cause I got into a guitar school in Acton and stayed when I got a job in the biggest casino in the world, ie. the stock market. Jesus if you think you can be rude and you don't like show offs, you should come and meet the animals I work with.

Maybe you're not so bad after all
You just have to be careful round these parts. The rules/guidelines have been brought together over a number of years, by the llamas who have been here an awful long time. We've had a glut of buffoons since I've come back from holiday (four appeared whilst away and when I logged back in here I wished I hadn't bothered) and there have been so many people over the years who have posted without looking what the forum is about that the regulars have just got sick of it. I remember in my early Billericay updates I got a rollicking for giving my two forwards nicknames.
Newcastle is one of those schools you have to pay to go to, most of the other schools round here don't bother with rugby, at least not when I was at school.
I've got friends dotted about London/surrounding counties inside the M25, ranging from Surbiton to Kingston to East Sheen to a tiny place in Kent. A couple of them (one still down there, one not) work/have relatives who work in the music industry, so if you are serious about guitar playing and are good at it, I could shove you in there direction as they are bound to have some contacts? Surely it would beat the rat race!
Am I turning soft, helping a newbie??!!

Or maybe it's because I've had a couple of beers and feel rather jolly.
