Ha, wasn't bragging, it would be pretty sad to brag about a computer game. Just discussing the actual topic of the thread, which no-one else seems to be doing. Sorry for trying to a share an interest in the game, don't think I'll bother again.

Why so hostile Nobby, didn't you get enough attention as a child? Maybe it's because you come from Staffs the same as I do, it can leave a person very bitter. As we're the same age maybe we played Rugby against each other, I certainly remember whipping Newcastle a few times. Hey maybe we could all start rugby threads, since noone seems to be able to talk about CM in here without the boring criticism?

I actually did read the header. I wasn't tipping, cheating, discussing tactics, discussing an editor, although I did accidentally name a player, I admit. And I don't know what the update bit means...

I certainly wasn't meaning to brag I don't think it was a particularly impressive story anyway, I was just meaning to swap experiences of managing a particular team (honest). :o

You guys must get a lot of people p*****g you off in here if newbies like me are getting jumped on so quickly. Didn't mean to break the rules but do find it a bit odd that you can't talk about players you signed or results you achieved that's surely the point of managing a lower league team. The fun is that it's never going to happen IRL. Can anyone explain why we have these rules? (I'm probably really infuriating regulars now!)

Don't visit Canary Wharf anytime soon then Nobby. I grew up in Lichfield, Staffs and we used to play Newcastle under Lyne. Only came down here cause I got into a guitar school in Acton and stayed when I got a job in the biggest casino in the world, ie. the stock market. Jesus if you think you can be rude and you don't like show offs, you should come and meet the animals I work with.

The reasons for the guidelines (and some Rules) is explained in the very first line of the Header, the LLM raison-d'etre:

"For managers that enjoy the challenge of bringing a lower league team to the top - without the need for tipping, cheating or bragging."

I know it's not perfect gramatically, but it's been here longer than me.

It's not just about managing a Lower League Team, it's the way you do it.
