About my lineage....Ian loves to call me "multinational poof" because of it. It's not too complicated though - I was born in Poland, my mother is from Poland, my father Austrian, I grew up in Poland, we moved to Austria after a few years though, and after I graduated I moved to Germany because of my German girlfriend. Not too difficult, is it?

Came 3rd in the conference with Tamworth losing to Shrewsbury in the first round of the playoffs. Started the next season and lo and behold, my beloved Nuneaton have been promoted. I thought I would have to wait a few years for the opportunity so this was pretty lucky. Tamworth loved me so I thought I'd push my luck with an ultimatum only to be asked to clear my desk by the morning. The Nuneaton post was available (bizzarely, as they had just gone up!) so I applied for and got the job.

Word of warning though gnomeTASTIC, if you ever get the chance to manage the 'borough you may find like I did that you start off with only two players (and one of them is a keeper on loan from somewhere), so you have to build an entire squad from scratch with only £30k. This obviously means as many free signings as possible and hiring unemployed staff, the only problem being that the last place anyone wants to go is Nuneaton.

I have just finished my first season at the helm and finished third again, only this time we got through the play-offs taking revenge on Shrewsbury in the final courtesy of an 87th minute [edit] freekick. If we hadn't have gone up I think the club was doomed as I was £12k a week over my wages allowance due to all the incentives I had to give out to actually get anyone to go to the club.

Highlight of the season was getting to the fifth round of the FA Cup and drawing 1-1 with Tottenham at home and away and only getting beaten after each team had taken it's ninth penalty in the shootout. If you do take on what must surely be the toughest challenge in the game, let me know how you get on. If only Nuneaton's prospects were so good in real life!!!

No offence, but this is really hopping the fence with respect to updates...

And I need an excuse to post boost without feeling so dirty
