I know there are a set of guidelines to follow but as they are guidelines people may have different interpretations of them and may see things in a different view to others. I was just wondering what rules different people stick by and how they play their game.

I am playing 03/04 4.1.4
I think that 'fog of war' is a must and leave the transfer screen alone and only rely on my scouts abilities to find players. The only time I do use the search faciclity is for staff and future loanees.
I make sure that I have scouted anyone or had them on trial before buying them.
