That's just came to me. In the training screen (CM03-04) there are bars which show how each exercise improves a player- or/and makes him worse in other areas.
The poiont is, you can spend half an hour in there, adn keep changing stuff around, until you come up with something that's really good all around.
I don't think that's realistic. IRL, it takes weeks, or even months, to see how a certain training regime has a good effect on your players or not.
The interface of CM03-04 just makes it too easy. And i 'm not sure what can be done to make it realistic. Maybe assign all the training to the asistant? But that's not realistic either. Managers are always meddling with training AFAIK.
And anyway, there's a bug with assistants, who are being poached by other clubs- and it's quite hard to find a new one. Although the extra money eases the pain somehow |

All of my players deteriorate from the moment I start bossing them around. My training tactics revolve around trying to slow this down.
SI decided not to explain the new training system in the manual (I imagine) to avoid turning us LLMs into 'good' managers ie. we can't discuss what it is unlike TTers or GQers.
They sign, they play, they leave.
Everything else is just marzepan.

:o Mmm.. I guess you're right. Stupid thread alltogether.
I thought that A training discussion on LLM level would be allowed, as it's not mentioned in the header no-no's.
But then again, it would be tipping.
I 'm learning something new everyday in here, it seems.

Training? Players train? Does it go by how many cups of coffee they drink in their day jobs?

sorry felt like answering the question. In reality there have been enough tests and sh*te done to look at the effects of trainning on players proformance, thus the manager and coaches WOULD know the likely effects of thier tranning programme on the players.
So IMHO it is realistic to see how the trainning would improve aspects of a players ability instantly, using infrmation gleened from spotty sports science lab rats (as I used to be).

I don't own 03/04 so am not entirely sure what Kfoolmoon is on about.
These bars he refers to, am I right in thinking that they show what a general effect of training is likely to be rather than being individual for each player? In which case, presumably diferent players will actually react in different ways to the training and some will probably throw a hissy fit at being made to get off their backsides at all!

What you mean some players may not agree with the managers decisions to make them trian!! (case in point, the fat Fecker up front at the toffies doesn't look like he train unless there was a pie in it for him)

My guess is he means the goalposts.. I think there's a legend or something in here, about a fat keeper.
