Hi Folks,

No bragging just thought I'd say hi. I am a convert away from editors etc, I have always picked my team Montrose but some how a russian billionare seems to invest lots of money and I win the European Cup...but I thought I might give it a go proper like win 03-04.

Still with montrose and doing OK. Much more rewarding I have to say.

Anyone else had sucess using Montrose or a Scottish 3rd division club?

The main reason for posting was that I applied for a Job (Not sure if thats againsts LLM rules..) at Aberdeen, I have a reputation of Ok but I got beat to the Job by Steve Bruce!

Is this something folk have found before, that say scottish premier sides don't really look down the leagues for Managers? and take on unrealistc managers?

No flaming chance.

Scottish LLM teams seem to be a popular choice within this forum. A number of our members have tried that route over the years as a search will reveal.

I always used to apply for the odd job if I fancied the team. Nowadays, it seems that even I get offered a job occasionally without having applied.

Oh and about Steve Bruce, I wonder if he has a negative loyalty rating in the game. If not, he should have.

I am a big fan of LLm management myself. but never had the need to use the editor just a free choice signings to make the backbone of a decent side. never done the Scottish league's though, just woking, cobh ramblers, and some finnish team I can't recall. good luck, and you'll find a few signings is what you need, not a russian millionaire. also, some of your players might suprise you.
