First, I hate how many times (in 03/04) a goalie takes a goalkick and a defender picks it up in the penalty box and either passes it back to the goalie or sets off up the field.

Second, I loved how I signed a player on a free from Man Utd and he said he was delighted to be signing for a team he has supported since he was a boy (nice touch, SI :thup: )

Third, and probably most important since there's been loads of threads about it, Stadium Upgrade.

We finished in second place in Division 1 for an automatic promotion place and the Board, without prompting, decided to upgrade the Stadium \0/

We had a 10118 all-seater, they decided to add 5032 seats, its going to take 5 months to complete the upgrade and until then we've a reduced capacity of 8803

So, come December 8 2006, we'll have a lovely new 15150 all-seater Stadium

your piont about short goal kicks is true. another I have a lot is the keeper rushing out into nomansland and seeing the opposition get a simple goal while my keeper is dancing with the lines man.

I've seen a player take a throw in, then cross the ball on the half volley a couple of times now

Have you had a game in 4.1.1? The average number of times this happened was about 10

I just hate all keepers, BTW. All of them. I usually sign a new one at the end of every season- haven't found one so far to get the job done.

Stadium expansions seem to happen a lot more now in CM03-04, which is good stuff.

How about the Liverpool job? Has it become available? :p

And what about the 10-odd long range shots per game that go to no other place than "over the bar"? Man, i despise that.. And the number (and outcome) of these shots doesn't decrease, not even when none of my players is allowed to shoot from long range. Jesus give me strength..

Agree there. My MC's are continually doing that, when a nice through ball to the unmarked FC would of been a much much better option.

You hope, unless the contractors go under and you are stuck with a 8000 capacity stadium & a large area full of broken concrete & twisted wires.

How about you are short of a striker (really short, like one in the team). You send your scouts out and they are founding bunch of D's or M's even GK's but no striker?
Did anyone noticed, that 90% of all corners shown, end up with a goal? I am terrified when I see acorner to be taken. Of course this rule does not apply to your team.

Most annoying is someone on my side taking a throw-in and throwing it straight to a group of three opposition players.

This happens regularly, admitted all my players are crap, but surely they could at least throw the ball to someone on their own team??
