Thanks, that would be my guess. Although I can imagine the recriminations if a club gets shifted from a weak Conf. North to a strong Conf. South or vice versa.

What he said. I wouldn't like it one bit, if say i had a team in one regional division, improving its squad year after year, sizeing up the opponents, and then suddently be sent to an entirely different environment.

Of course Burton happily switched when the opportunity presented itself to move into what they perceived (correctly as it turned out) easier Unibond League. It'll always be a problem for sides near the approximate border. But got to be better than large overlaps.

Still if SI can implement it it, I'd like the chance to manage Glossop (not quite their glory days now) or even New Mills. But Buxton would do at a pinch.

yeh im pretty sure thats what would happen.

iv played a gaem or tow of CM in the Italian LLS and you see some clubs that hop around Seria c2 divisions every year! (Surely it must **** them off somewhat!)

i really cant see a reason why Si wont put Conference north and south into Football Manager.

Italy currently has 7 operating divisions in Cm, Brazil has about 20 and yet, England currently only has 5!

Please!!!!

I'd heard as low as it would go was Conference North/South, nothing below that. But that wouldn't be any lower than currently.

As for number of divisions, that's not really an accurate way to compare England to Italy with CM.

Italy currently has 4 levels represented in the game, England having 5. This won't change by using Conference North and South, just add another division, so to speak.

If you really want to compare detail, the database for English players and clubs is much more complete than any other country, and rightly so.

Mmm...

Kidsgrove Athletic may end up in the Northern Premier League, so if Conference North & South does end up being including in FM05, then Kidsgrove Athletic may end up being a playable team.

Their ground used to be a high school pitch.

It will, Conference North and South will be at level six, the current Conference will remain at five.
