For every online good crash there has been an online bad crash.

I'm fortunate enough to have only very rarely experienced this in solitary play.

Take your luck this time, next time it might be the other way round.

I had rolling auto-save on a recent game (monthly) so it keeps the last 3 saves as backup (why it needs 3 rather than just the current one and one other is beyond me...), but it somewhat backfired when CM died because my comp ran out of disk space due to the 3 save-games so I lost lots of games back to the previous save anyway

I still agree that real LLMers start a season and only save at the end of the season. We should have the perserverance.
