We've gone very easy on his player naming.

Although it's kind of sweet that he felt the need to name an "obviously famous" player for us, in case we didn't know what he meant.

By sweet, mkus, I suppose you mean "too much and your teeth will fall out"?
Which I suppose is ironic, considering the player named.

I've never played a LLM game before under the rules on the forum (I've never even been on this forum before today), but to be honest it sounds like a really good idea for a game....challenging and fun...I've just got a few questions thought before I start:

1stly, if I do make my team great, or get offered a place at a major club, do I still have to find all my players through scouts? Or can I try and sign obviously famous players (eg. Buck Toothed fat boy).

2ndly, after I finish my first game and start a new one, do I just pretend that all of the players I have found do not exist? Do i start again with a default tactic? Because surely if you have found a tactic that works wonders (after seasons and seasons of trial and error), then in your next game you will lean towards a similar formation. No?

Lastly, I come to you with a way to make the experience more "pure". Surely after completing one game/challenge, the logical thing to do would not be to start a new game, but to apply for a job in the conference, so you do not have any knowledge of what players will be good in 10 years time.

1) I still use scouts mainly because it normally takes me that long that all the well known players are 50ish

2) I have a preferred tactic that I tend to use more often than any other but I generally modify it for the players I have. I think any "real" manager would have. Dealing with prior knowledge is discussed extensively in a similar thread a few thread down.

3) That option used to be the preferred option for some LLaMas but is now closed of in the latest version of CM03/04
