I can buy players with regular contract, and I can buy players on free transfer. BUT it seems I can't buy (nor offer a contract to) players with no contract but still in their club: if I try to do it it says the transfer will be on "next market window, on 1/7/2008", and I'm on 15/07/2007. One year later?? And why can I buy immediately players with "real" contracts?

You can't sign players out of the transfer windows if they have a club, even if they are out of contract. If they are registered to a club then you can't sign them till the next transfer window.

You can freely sign free agents, just not players registered to a club.

First, I CAN sign players if their contract is expired, even though they're still in their club. Second, the next transfer window is on August 2007, not August 2008. And I don't need to be in the transfer window to sign a player on Bosman rule (he usually come immediately after expiration of his former contract, on 1st July).

Actually, the transfer window is already open, as I'm on July 15th 2007. And then, I can buy players normally, why shouldn't I be able to sign out of contracts players untill July 2008??

Furthermore, this strange rule don't apply to First and Second Div teams, who can regularly sign players on free transfer even if they're still in their club, but out of contract.

And why can't I BUY out of contract players till next year, while I can BUY players with regular contracts immediately?

It seems so. Ie, I can sign them, but if I sign them they'll come only on July 2008!
It seems that the game consider as each player who still hasn't left his club have (at least) another year of contract, even though they're out of contract.

Moreover, it's even more strange that I can't buy these out of contract players even paying them, cause they'll come again next year, as the market was close till next summer!

same problem I guess that this is a bug. I think its only the case with youth contracts

Belgium amateur divisions (which is 3rd and lower) follow a different set of transfer rules than the two proffessional leagues.

Deadline is June 30 to sign players for the upcoming season.

I think it is to prevent amateur clubs from having all their players bought away last minute.
