I had a similar problem with my game. i was 2-0 up at bolton with 10 minutes to go, anelka got a hat trick and got the winner in the 96th minute. not quite as bad as yours but still very frustrating!!!
Wasn't there an SPL game last season where about 4 or 5 goals were scored in the last few minutes?
And like gav said, if this is happening all the time, then it would be laughable, but, it is perfectly possible that something like this could happen every so often.
I remember Reading scoring four goals away from home twice this season and losing both times.
I remember Stoke losing 7-0 to Birmingham and 8-0 to Liverpool at home in the space of a couple of years.
I remember Port Vale leading 4-1 at home to QPR in injury time. Final score was 4-4.
What was that about random results? Maybe you should tell off real players for random results too.
It happens IRL, but in fm2008 happens too much if your tactics are not good. Some matches are easy too win, some easy to lose, without same team and same rival. AI is capable to have awesome tactics when needed, thanks god AI only uses them few times :p
Just as a point, there have been a few IRL football matches recently where, had I seen those results on FM, I'd have thought the results were unrealistic. Obvious candidates include Pompey 7-4 Reading, Tottenham 6-4 Reading, Chelsea 4-4 Aston Villa and, talking of comebacks, last year Gills were 3-0 up at Leyton Orient with 15 minutes to go when their left back scored a hattrick to draw the game at 3-3.
