It wouldnt be all that realistic. irl managers have fellow managers, playing/coaching staff, chairmen and the media when judging the value of a player. also irl you have time to watch a player yourself and calculate the buying and selling clubs situation.
Take gilberto for example. I reckon arsenal would sell for £6m. Thats just taking into consideration the amount of games he is playing,his age, the emergence of flamini.
This time last year there was no way arsenal would even consider selling him.
At the moment he is dispensible, but with flamini stalling on a new contract that could all change again.
I just feel that its too hard to get a bid for a player accepted even when you can see his value, never mind no value at all.
You also have to consider how much the value of similar players can vary from country to country.
