no special team appered in 2007

so i was wondering if any chance that you could bring back these teams and add a few new ones

How about putting the 2 fantasy teams from the Mirror and Sun into it (Tadchester Rovers and Warbury) or even any other teams??

There was uproar within these forums, I really didnt understant why as all you had to do was tick a box and they were not in the game, but then people banged on about realism.

SI had a poll in this forum about these teams and the general opinion was they make the game unrealistic.

yea it may seem unrealistic, but some players (like me) like having them as teams in the lower divisions and play them in freindlies or freindly leagues.

just wondering if a 5.0.1 patch will work with this game to get them back

You can easily create one in the editor if you like.
Create new team, create new staff and players and swap one of the current teams with that team in the league of your liking.
Make sure when you save it to use the "save as" option, otherwise it overwrites the original database.
Create a new game and select the saved database instead of the default one and choose your created team to manage.
I did it once in FM07 to test something out and i ended up playing 12 seasons with that team.
It was fun but i do prefer a realistic game.

I do it every year. I find it very realistic, assuming as I do that a multi-billionaire decided he'd rather start his own club rather than buy one. I just don't add any players or staff. Starting with a blank slate, I have a couple months at the beginning of the game to sign a staff and side and get them match fit.

Of course, the realism suffers because the newly-formed side doesn't have to rise through the ranks to a playable league ... but that little detail aside, it's a great way to play the game.

What i did was i created 2 super teams called SC Atlantis and Atlantis City (without players but with staff) and placed them both in the blue square.
Both teams i gave a reputation of 4500, a 85000 seater with expansion capacity to 180000, and 10 million in the bank.
I also created the city of Atlantis and made both teams rivals.
I gave the locations between Europe and America somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean and gave that city the weather of Spain but nationality of England.
The idea to choose Atlantis i got from a book i was reading about the lost continent myth and their so called super race at that time.
In that test i wanted to check which team would gain most success in 30 seasons and which team would be in the EPL first etc.
After a while i got a bit attached to these teams so i created a new game and managed the team that won most, and tried to do better as a challenge.
I stopped after 12 seasons of winning almost every match which got to boring after a while.
What started as a test ended with actually playing with them.

Am not sure about 08 but there was stuff for 07 and 06.
