Default Did the patch fix stuff?

Looked on Amazon, hoping to get round to getting the game before February half term, and a bunch of bitching and whining was there.

So are some of the bugs fixed?

There was nothing big enough to stop me buying the game, last year had those sorta illogical things and it was still fun, just wondering.

I.e. Fan confidence. like barely winning at home -Enjoyed. Beating comprehensively away - Just pleased.
Etc.

Of course some of the bugs are fixed as that is the whole point of a patch. The game is not perfect yet but is perfectly playable with the 8.0.1 patch

Sure missing 15 chanches with world-class strikers. it's what you define playable

There's too many goals as is.

That is one thing I was really hoping would be fixed with the patch. It's better than it was but still not perfect. In most divisions in my game teams had scored an average of about 12 goals in their first 6 matches. In my division teams had scored more like 15 or 16 goals in those matches. One team had a goal difference of -23 at that early stage.

That's just not realistic.

The game's playable (though I never thought game-breaking bugs were a problem anyway) but the realism is significantly lowered from 07.
