I remember playing with Sampdoria on FM07, my assistant manager coming from Argentina, I got 6 youth players with Argentinian/Italian nationality promoted to my youth team one season. It was like this with other teams/nations as well (although not that excessive). There was a correlation between foreign staff and foreign players being promoted. However on FM08 there are (almost) none. Not only my team but all the other teams as well. No players with African decendancy in the French league(s), no South American players in Italy/Portugal/Spain etc. I have, after a plethora of save games, only seen one player with dual nationality (Brazil/Portugal/Spain actually). I don't know if SI have toned down this feature but it's a little weird I think. Anyone else experiencing this?
Yes, I am in season 2015/2016 and i have only got two players with dual nationality.
One English/Northern Irish and one English/Welsh.
And i have and have had staff from several countries all seasons.
been exactly the same on mine, into 2014 and i've only ever had english players coming through the ranks, and not many of them either! i think i've only had one irish guy come through, and thats about it even though i have staff from all over the world!
