Its the quarter finals of the champs league, and the world cup sam quals happen to be playing on the same day !!!

Im inter and half my team are away!

that happened to me once. nothing you can do about it unless its a friendly.

club v country should have been been implimented into fm08, some players were given special dispensation from their african national teams to play in FA cup & league cup ties this month irl.

I kind of like how in the previous patches, the Champions League Final occurs at the same time as the Gold Cup, and for some reason, my Brazilians and Argentines prefer to beat the United States to a pulp rather than help me in the Final...

Or how Internationals clash with the Super Cup sometimes; luckily it also hurts the opposition team as well in general, so it's Under-18s vs. Under-18s.
