This may have been posted beofre but I'm kinda new to this forum!
I was wondering if any1 else felt this way....
I wish FM had more of a chairman influence over transfer funds. For example its fine starting the game with your pre difined budget but why at the end of the seasons is the budgets decided purely on the bank balance! Why can't a chairman for example (Randy Lerner, ASton Villa) free up some money and increase the budget out of his pocket! This is how modern day football is so why can't this be incorporated? This should also be applied to a seperate janurary window, budget. The board should try and set u a mid season budget! Speaking for myself i always spend all my seasons budget before the season starts leaving nothing for mid season purchases. I don't think this is so realistic! any thoughts?
i think that they do, im at newcastle, and i got an income of 7m from 'other' no idea what 'other' way of getting 7m there is except from the chairmen, also check your income from 'investments' hope this helps
i'll keep an eye out! just never seen it with my teams! well nothing significant. and if this is it, it should be made obvious to the manager. Plus i still like the seperate transfer window budgets idea.
