Elland Road Diseased?
Okay, let the comments flow, but the point is, has anyone ever had a player catch a virus for NINE MONTHS?

I couldn't find a decent loanee so have had to spend 7.5m on Ashley Young - which is actually not bad, but I didn't really need one.
And please don't tell me to post in the "bugs" forum.

I had the exact same virus hit a Palestinian player I was scouting in FM07; pretty lucky timing, too, as I'd just offered him a contract. Never had it happen to a player in my squad, though.

It has happened in football before with players like Babbel and Sharpe.
I quite like the last option:
"It seems that you have a serious viral infection, my advice would be to go home and put your feet up, about 7 months should do the trick"
