OK,

So my trial version of whatever paint shop pro version I was using ran out the other day. The only thing I use it for is to make gfx for FM, so I don't really want to pay £60-70 for a fully licensed version, neither do I want to change trial versions every 30 days or so.

So, can anybody recomend a free, legal piece of software that I can use to make my gfx? All I need is a piece of software that can enable me to crop, set the opacity to 99% and save to .png format.

Any suggestions would be most welcome. Ta.

Also check out download.com, there should be some free software that can do what you want.

OK - I've actually just seen what seems to be a reasonable price for Paint Shop Pro 7 - will that do the job?

Yeah, Paint Shop Pro is a good piece of software.
