CAN ANYONE HELP WITH MY PROBLEM?

what it is that for some reason now i saved my game other night and now when i play it when i click continue when its loaded instead of it stopping it has a mind of its own and keeps automaticly continues its self till when it comes too a game...anyone have any idears what it might be.

Turn off auto continue/time out or whatever its called in the preferences menu.

michael thanks just tried it it was on instant instead of disable dont know how it changed cause i never changed it...but thanks it was starting too anoy me.
