I don't know if this has been said before but I was just thinking of it and wondering what your opinion is.
You do know when a player comes from the youth and develops himself in a starplayer in just a season (Rooney is a good example). In FM he's just a youth player but you want to make him a world class (or just a better) player. Well, you have to change attributes, ability and potential ability. You prolly noticed that some really good young players have got this in their profile. Cicinho: could be the next Cafu. Kerlon: could be the next Ronaldo.
Wouldn't it be easy if you could just say in the editor that a player could be the next.. (and then choose a name of the player you want). This way you don't have to struggle with difficult things like potential and potential ability. Let the editor do the thinking by checking who the player is and who he is being compared with.
