Basically what has happened is i decided to make a european superleague.
I decided that all of the english premierleague teams, german bundeslig, spanish la liga, serie a and french top division league teams (and a few second division teams from these countries) into the english league system right down to the conference north / south which would be filled with all of the english championship and most of the league one clubs.
I would then place league two clubs, conference clubs and a few conference north / south clubs in the leagues below the conference north / south (the Northern premier league premier division, the southern football league premier division and the Isthmian League Premier Division).
I would then put the clubs that used to be in the conference north / south and the Northern premier league premier division, the southern football league premier division and the Isthmian League Premier Division in the lower leagues of spain, france, germany and italy.

I would also rename the english leagues and fa cup and change the reputations of these competitions.


I then decided to make it.
Firstly I swapped all of the teams in the premiership, championship, league one, league two and conference with the teams replacing them from France, Spain, Italy and Germany and placed all of the teams that were in the Championship and League one into the conference north / south.
I then tested it.
Great it worked.
Then the next day I moved all of the teams that were in the conference north / south and the and the Northern premier league premier division, the southern football league premier division and the Isthmian League Premier Division in the lower leagues of spain, france, germany and italy.
I did this by them firstly being in the top division of the leagues then swapping them with teams in the division below.
Then I changed the names and reputations of the english leagues and all the english cups.
Now for the big test.
I clicked on new game, chose my database and loaded all of the english leagues.
It got through about a third of "setting up game database before it crashed to the desktop and the following error message came up - A serious error was encountered and the applicated will close. An error file has been generated in : my documents".
Oh dear.
Anyone know why this happened? Thanks for your help.

I might be wrong but did you change the nationality of the clubs that you added in the league to english?

I encountered this problem with my superleague patch. Make sure that you set barcelona, real madrid, inter, etc as English nationality. The same needs to be done with the english domestics teams you've sent overseas.

Ok thanks i will try that now. How come though it worked on my first test after I had done the top divisions (inter, real madrid etc ) were in premiership?

Also the german and spanish clubs B teams are still in there own countries league but there nations are set as english. Do i change these?

Damn it still doesnt work. Before it didnt work I deleted the histories of the english leagues and cups. Could that be the problem?

Thats the problem. You need to keep last years FA Cup/UEFA Cup/Premiership/Champions League history otherwise the Community Shield/UEFA Super Cup can't be set.
