I've searched through historic threads, but nothing's come up that may apply to FM07.

How does my Conference North club get new u-18 youth players during the summer months between seasons?

Are they randomly assigned by the game's AI?

Do I have to scout them somewhere?

Youth players are randomly generated by the game- you need do nothing.

I believe reputation and league affect your youth system (as well as your youth academy, of course).

Team and league reputation affect the quality of youths. Facilities and coaches affect how well they develope.

And your knowledge of the world determines where they come from. Most of them will probably come from the home nation, but others from more exotic climbs may join you.
