I just started doing in this version is targetting opposition weak minded/less brave players with hard tackling and most of the time it works out.

My Dortmund side is 1st would you believe after creating a new tactic and the team seem to like it

the outside mids run diagonally to the top and the middle runs straight up below the strikers, DL and DR run up to dm position and the mentality is only tweaked minorly each game, not far from normal, like a bit wide, a bit direct a bit fast or slow, use target mixed, use playmaker, counter and only offside trap off for away

It seems to be doing ok for now although no blowout scorlines just slight wins like 1-0 ect

Main thing is targeting the weaker opposition with hard tackling but you gotta consider the ref as well, also who ever the opposite player is that gets a yellow start getting your guy to run at him more and he will either foul him aain and get sent off or go easy.

Yeah I did this for my most successful game to date worked a treat its just so time consuming as there is no quick way to set up the opposition instructions.

I need to see how I go untill the rest of the season then I will host it cause I have dropped to 6th and am lacking goals, so if I can sort it out and finish in the top 3 I'll post it up.

I think I have sold the goal problem, Ive got my defensive mid in a more supporting attacking style of play and takes the burden off the rest of the team while making tackles and still being defensive.

Well I ended up finishing 2nd place in the league behing Munchen (Bayern Munich )

So tbh, it was a struggle to stay in 2nd place, 20 wins, 10 losses and 4 draws did it for me.

My defence only let in about 27 league goals and I scored about 49.

In the second half of the season I didn't tinker with it as much as i did in the first apart from offside trap and opp instructions for each team.

More info if anyone is interested, if you need I can post a pic of the tactic and instructions ect and give an explanation, but now im off to bed then will be up to watch Chelsea kick some blackburn arse in the morning
