i've just finished my 3rd season with liverpool and have been very successful until the last year.At the start of each year i modify my tactic slightly as tactics do become old and begin to be less effective. This year i changed to the chelsea formation but it has been extremely inconsistent.At one point i was conceding and scoring loads,then i didn't concede at all but didn't score and then i drew 8 matches in a row!!!fortunately i sneeked 4th place on the last day of the season.With the squad of players which i have (in my opinion they can win anything given the right tactic) i want to play with 3 at the back.Has anyone had success in keeping goals out/scoring loads?i've never managed to find a successful formation with 3 at the back as i normally concede quite a few,regardless of who the three centre backs are.scoring is not a problem.Has anyone got any advice as to what team instructions should be used for three at the back or can anyone suggest a 3 a the back tactic for me to try out.

I don't but it is important to tweak it for new players you bring in and just to keep the AI guessing a bit i suppose. Especially if you're not one of the elite.

I find just changing your tempo for a number of games seems to work

yeah i do this at the begining of most seasons, seems to confuse the AI after 2 or 3 games then i just go back to what the tempo was before

I was always under the impression that the opposition sets it's gameplan around your reputation and form, not your tactics.

yeah im licverpool just coming up the the ond of my third season came 2nd in the first season an top in the other one. atm in the 3rd season im top 2 games in hand an 10 points clear i use

this worked for me in this 3rd season in the first 2 i used the set tactic of 4-3-3 and did very well. also try buying peter adeniyi i paid 26k and how he is 19 and worth over 8m
