It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Rule of One - Following wwfan's new TT&F

I've followed every step of his original instructions and made a tactic pack which contains 3 tactics.

4-4-2 Home
4-4-2 Away (defensive)
4-4-2 Away (attacking)

Let me know if the new TT&F work for you... I'll try it as well and might upload some results later. I only played 3 matches so far and it's a little confusing. (draw against the best team in the league, win, win)

My team is still adjusting, though.
I'm Belford Town in the Conference South. (predicted to relegate).

Good work Stoked. Think we need to test Mr wwfans ideas out. I'll start a season with Leeds and let you know how I get on.

also wwfan (if you see this) if it's possible I'd like you to download it as well and tell me if it's all 100% valid.

Couldn't this have been put in the TT&F thread to keep it all together?

When I started using it, the first game or two it was a little unstable and seemed like the players could snap at any time... However since the 3rd game it all started to get much clearer and it is very stable now.

Some results (old to new)

When it's a home game I use the home tactic,
When it's an away game and I'm the underdog (pre match odds) I use the 4-4-2 def,
When I'm away and favorite I use the 4-4-2 attack.

Most people naturally don't like looking at threads which are too long just to find a small link.

It's a tactics forum - it's not inappropriate to post a tactic here. Or maybe I'm wrong...

But if I did put it at the original thread much less people would have access to this, especially as some get scared by the length of wwfan's post and stop reading after a minute. Problem is they're still just want to know if it'll work for them or not... Here's their chance.

If you find that in home games your team cannot deal with the pressure in the start of the second half to about 70th minute, I've come up with a way against it...

If you're having this problem... switch to this tactic in those minutes (at the end of the first half) and switch back to the home tactic about 20-30 mins later.

Not having any luck at all in the EPL with Reading. Teams are simply too good, even with the low back line I'm conceding many one on ones.

To be honest I would prefer people opened new threads to support specific tactic sets so TT&F can remain focussed on theoretical discussion.

@ StokedOnCity: Glad you are having some success.
