I satdown and decided to watch man utd play liverpool at home there starting formations were man utd: 4-4-2 with short fa on the wingers
Liverpool: 4-4-2 flat
now the first things that stood out for me was that G.Neville was playing CB and W.Brown was playing RB also C.Ronaldo was playing LM and R.Giggs was playing CM. Now that seemed a little odd the only thing i could think of is that brown is faster then Neville and the Liverpools right side of midfield had there two fastest midfielders and maybe thats why man utd had giggs and ronaldo there. In the second halfy when brown and ronaldo got yellow cards they both got switched from wide areas brown switched with neville and ronlado switched with giggs now that makes no sense to me because surly they r more likly 2 get into tackles in the middle of the field. When Man Utd went 1-0 up in about the 75th minute they switched to a 4-4-1 and brought on carrick liverpool switched to a 4-4-2 with long FA on the wingers. now this is when it gets odd in the last 10 mins liverpool changed to 2-3-5 (WTF) man Utd countered with a 4-1-4-1. Now is this what all compuer vs computer matches are like or is it a one off plus can anyone make any sense out of the tactics used like why switch the FB with a CB and a MR with a MC when they get booked
I think it is. Try and pick up more important notes such as closing down and watch thier passed whether one is counter attacking the other. Count how many men the defending team has and how they could contain the attack of the other team.

My questioned is, is watching the computer play each other any help to us or do they play in a way that if we tried we would get ripped apart by them?
The game runs on attributes, morale and tactical settings. It does not know if it's "the computer" or the player who's managing.
